AmeBee

AmeBee is small, golden and impossible to discourage. She was the first friend Amelie ever met, on a morning when nobody else noticed that the new girl at the park was standing on her own.

She is not brave in the loud way. She is brave in the way that walks up to somebody and says hello first. When the others argue, AmeBee is the one who quietly puts them back together.

She wears a pink bow because her grandmother wore one, and a golden heart because Amelie gave it to her.
